Synopsys:
The Self Service Password Reset empowers users to reset their own passwords if they do not
remember it. You can download the attached guide to print and use if you need to reset your password.
Note: User must be a member of the SSPR group in O365 Admin Center. This can be confirmed by the Help Desk.
Steps to complete:
1. There will be link under the password entry that says, "Reset Password"
Note: User may have to choose sign-in options and select the key icon.
2. A window will appear and ask for the Grant Associates email or username of the user; as well as
random characters as seen below.
3. The user will then have to verify who they are by the phone number associated with their MFA. This
is usually their cell phone that has the Microsoft Authenticator app configured. A verification code
will be sent to that phone and must entered.
4. Once the verification code has been entered it will prompt for the user to set a new password.
Password Requirements:
12 characters in length
One upper-case letter
One lower-case letter
One number
One special character ( ! @ # $ )
